Wotan not only impresses with his excellent uprightness on the forehand, but also with his harmonious conformation. The head is expressive, with a clear eye and sufficient mobility in the neck, the neck is long and the withers reach far into the back. His sloping shoulders with a right-angled upper arm give him plenty of shoulder freedom, which benefits him when moving his forelimbs. The movements in the three basic gaits, walk, trot and canter, are regulated, i.e. pure in rhythm, with a secure beat and sufficient scope.
